How to Play Bookworm Online
- Start by connecting adjacent letters to spell valid words. Begin with shorter words to clear those pesky burning tiles.
- Scores depend on word length, rare letters, reward tiles, and your current level. In the most general way, the longer the word, the bigger your score just like in Scrabble!
- When you've formed a word, submit it by releasing your mouse or lifting your finger. You can also use the submit button on the left.
- Watch out for burning tiles! They appear randomly after the first level and must be cleared before they reach the bottom. Or else the game is over.
- If you cannot come up with a new word, try scrambling the grid by clicking on the bookworm. This feature comes with a price of new burning tiles on the grid!
Earn Bonus Points
- After level one, bonus words will appear under the Bookworm. Treat those bonus words like they're your best mate who just shows up with your favorite pizza. They boost your score, so never ignore them.
- Green tiles boost your score, while gold tiles (earned by forming words with 5+ letters) multiply your rewards.
- As you level up, expect tougher bonus words with bigger rewards. Happy word hunting!
